Injera - Köln

It was my first time in an Ethiopian restaurant and I think eating this here is a very good experience. the very good and fast attention and the very tasty eating I will bring back to the restaurant.

We visited Injera to try something different. The staff is very, very nice! There are many vegetarian options. The food is good if you want to try something different. But for me it is more something to try once, but nothing I would say I can go here again and again. A little experience, but that's it.

We stumbled on Injera by mistake on the walk back for town to the flat we were staying in. Welcomed in and seated on the very comfortable sofas at front of house we spent the next few hours making our way through the drink menu.Although we weren't eating the food looked really good and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed....we had chats with most of the staff and everyone in the place seemed to be enjoying themselves!If I'm ever back in Cologne I'll make a point of not only drinking but eating here too!

My husband and I tried Injera last night for the first time and had a lovely experience. The restaurant is decorated very nicely, great ambiance. We received a warm welcome and were seated right away. We decided to share the platter for 2 and the food was amazing! The flavours were so rich and just the right amount of spice. The platter had a nice variety of foods, the chicken and beef were cooked very well and the different veggie dishes were fantastic. After supper we had the Mangooo for dessert and it was so refreshing. When we left we were both so full after having a wonderful evening. We will definitely come back to Injera again.

We stayed here with a group of staff to celebrate a birthday.First of all not everybody were totally sure with "african"/"euthiopian kitchen".But after the dinner the whole group were amazed.It is something different then a steak, a pizza or some pasta.The food was just incredible delicious, fresh, light and varied.Some unknown herbs and spices. Unknown vegetables.And a different way to eat. With your hands and not with fork and knife.All that together creates a wonderful atmosphere on the table.We had different platters. HUGE !!! everyone could pick something of all.The staff were very friendly and helpful in showing us how to eat.Always good for a joke and fun bringing.The restaurant itself is cozy and dark.Interior is modern with a touch of african decoration.Could be a bit more authentic.The outdoor seats in the backyard seemed very cozy.Overall, it is not just a dinner, it is something to discover.HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!Try it and you will love it!
