Recently visited Khyber popularly known for its North Indian cuisine. It’s located in Kala Ghoda and is quite easy to locate. This place is like a heritage with some earthy middle eastern interior vibes feel. Some of the walls have some unique art pieces that give you a feeling of royalty while you relish your meal here. The food is quite amazing and very flavourful. The staff is also very kind and helpful. Overall, this place is worth a visit to enjoy a rich North Indian wholesome meal
The interior of restuarant is mind blowing with a mixture of British and Mughal era architecture. The ample availability of space is something which adds in the stars keeping in view the restaurant is located in mumbai. The restaurant only serves lunch continuing the tradition of South Bombay (Colaba). Regarding the food the flavours were good and the items were fresh but the authenticity was the one thing which was missing. Altogether it is a good place for couples, family and groups up to the size of 25. For group you may have to do reservation in advance though.
Khyber serves the best authentic indian food, everything I tried here was delicious !
If you want to experience the old, rustic and vintage look of a castle while devouring tasty and amazing food, Khyber is a restaurant that you must visit. They serve a variety of North Indian and Mughlai dishes that are full of authentic flavours, scrumptious and delicious to eat. The staff here is courteous, helpful and made sure that they give their 100% if anything is needed on the table while serving us with the food. The service was really quick. We ordered couple of mocktails, 1) Orchid Queen khus syrup in the bottom and absolutely refreshing Must try... 2) Blue Delight looked like a dark Blue heaven, fizzy and refreshing. Must try... we tried starters 3) Chicken Tikka (Tandoor) The chicken pieces were succulent and every piece of chicken was properly cooked to perfection and the flavour were properly infused, loved it Must try. 4) Paneer Tikka was accompanied with pickled onions and a yogurt based chutney. Paneer was super soft. In Mains we ordered : 5) Chicken Rara the Curry were super tasty and creamy, was made in almond paste 6) Mix Veg had beans, carrot, peas, cauli flower made in cashew paste. We tried a Cheese garlic naan where the cheese was oozing out in each bite that we took and the roomali roti was really big to devour. Last but not the least, to top it all up we had the tastiest and refreshing dessert, 7) Pan Kulfi The coolness and sweetness were both packed in this one dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the food, loved the ambience. We would love to visit this place yet again.
