The sushi selection was decent but not the best ever, with 9 expensive rolls and a bunch of medium priced. As for main menu items, there were a decent number as well. The sushi rolls were much smaller in diameter than I expected, when compared to most of the mainland sushi places I've eaten at. Not sure if it's just a Hawaii thing or not. Their flavor was great and lovely presentation. We got the Sunset roll and the Unagi roll really liked both but the Unagi was my favorite. There aren't really any deep fried rolls on the menu, maybe only one, so don't expect any hot rolls. We also got a calamari steak appetizer, and if you can swing it, it's totally worth it. Perfectly cooked steak with great crispy breading. Off the menu, there are a couple deserts. One was the lilikoi mochi cake with ice cream. This was incredible, the flavor and texture were amazing. Definitely have to get this if you go. Great place overall but we left paying 70+ for what we ordered. Definitely not budget friendly but great quality food.
Food and service were ok. Beware of their menus. For some reason they have separate QR codes for different menu items and neither the hostess nor the waitress told us. Definitely not worth it for the prices they charge. We should have gone to Savage Shrimp next door instead.
We ate at the Sushi Bar and had the rainbow. This is the best Poke we had on the island. I got the poke over rice and my wife had him over salad. I'm picky about my rice. I don't like it hard or muddy. It was perfect! Friendly staff, good food and fresh fish!
Make your expectation. we arrived before our reservation on a Friday night and immediately we were warned that only 2 servers were in service. keenan was warm, but we were quite disappointed that the restaurant of panko crusted fish, children fish and chips, grilled mahi and somehow we have the last hamachi kama. the two rollers we received were tasty, but the lack of selection really killed the experience for us. in any case, the expectations did not meet.
Very good sushi! there are no tonne sushi rolls on the menu, but who needs a hundred options? we have 4 reels: dolphin (picture), flyin hawaiian, unagi and U-Megan-Me-Crazy. all were incredible, but my favorite were dolphin and unagi. I recommend a reservation. we went to dinner and the sushi menu is on the dinner menu. the restaurant offers a seating area in free. was it sweet? felt like we were on a covered veranda. we would definitely go back!
