Little Beaver - Komoka

I love their pies! All of their baked goods are fabulous. I picked up a coconut cream pie for my moms birthday. Excellent crust, and lots of whipped cream on top. ? Also, the price is very good!

Me and my fiancée work in the restaurant industry and have a good idea on how to treat customers and do a good job. We understand when a restaurant is busy so many things can go wrong. Although this was more than a few hiccups and it seems to be consistent ever since they moved across the street. Waited 20 minutes to be seated while we saw many open booths. Once seated we waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. Finally an older woman with glasses came to take out drink order. When my fiancée said we were ready for the food order too, in the most rude tone the server repeated what can I get you to drink. At that point we should have got up and left. But decided to stay for our mediocre food as we were starving. There was no food checkup for 10 minutes and that’s when I was able to ask the server for my pancake they had forgotten about. I can understand long wait times but add rude service and poor food quality on top and that makes for an unpleasant meal to say the least. Will not be back.

I used to bring my entire crew there until one day I got a grizzled hair in my homefries. It was half hair half singed. I told the young waitress I can't eat that. She took it away, didn't replace it although I did eat the eggs) and proceeded to charge me full price for all four meals. Last time I will go there !

Old restaurant use to be great. New one has really gone down hill. Went for turkey dinner at thanksgiving and food was mediocre and expensive for what you got. Pecan pie was actually over done on the top (tasted burnt). Had to dig hard to even get through the crust. We were quite disappointed. Doubt if we will go back again.

My son ordered breakfast with hash browns/homefries….he got French fries! After delivering his breakfast…when questioned…the waitress said they ran out of hash browns/home fries one hour ago! He was never asked if he wanted the French fries or if he wanted something else instead since they ran out…just sent French fries! Is it not customary to ask if a substitute is okay or offer something else???I ordered a mushroom bacon burger…I got it minus the mushroom but charged for it anyway!First and last time I will visit this establishment!Driving a hour to get bad service!!!
