Steigenberger Inselhotel

Since it's been two years back since we were sewn in constanz on the island, I want to resist a judgment about the service and restaurant. only so much has been said: I hope it has done a lot since then! the hotel is much more expensive than so many other overnight at the beautiful lake. for the superior room prices you can expect a very good service, which at this time however corresponded somewhat less than the standard. but as I said, this is two years ago. what has not changed since then is the excellent location of the hotel: this is located on a small island, but only a few meters from the mainland. is a water trench. in just a few minutes walking distance is the city centre and a walk on the ufer can be started from the hotel room. Also worth mentioning is the terrace behind the hotel, from which a wonderful view of the lake is possible. can also be eaten here. Finally, the climbing island hotel is also architecturally interesting. the interiors are original and work not least very consciously through wall pictures. my tip: who has to stay in constanz can risk a look at the island. alternatives should be in the eye.

In such a house they expect a really good food. Unfortunately, it was a single catastrophe. I have never been served such a badly prepared zanderfilet and the supplements were just terrible. the menu of my guide was also disappointing. the price-performance ratio is not the least! my conclusion: never again!

It is always a pleasure to visit this hotel, enjoy the various restaurants and the exotic views over Lake Constance. The regular restaurant on the lake terrace is ideal for a light meal and morning breakfast. What a wonderful breakfast buffet! The service outside the terrace is just as impeccable as any other The Dominikaner Stube is excellent for dinner and after dinner the Zeppelin Bar for night caps. I'm sure the location will help. More demanding guests come and Steigenberger Inselhotel meets expectations.

It is probably one of the best restaurants in Konstanz. Situated by the sea it offers a menu of Bodensee fish.
