Bilal Nasi Arab - Kota Bharu

The chicken at this restaurant is tasty and they offer a variety of dishes, but it doesn't compare to the average nasi kukus that I've tried. I find it to be overrated.

The flavor of this steamed rice remains unchanged from before. I still crave the taste from 300km away. It is truly delicious when paired with the fried chicken.

This restaurant is another option for nasi kukus, or steamed rice with fried chicken. We only visited because most local shops close early, some as early as 4 pm. We're not sure why, maybe locals don't eat dinner. We stopped by at 5 pm for takeout, since it was too early for dinner and we didn't know their closing time. I've had better nasi kukus in Selangor, but there are very few local food outlets open after 5 pm.

It was the first time we were in Kota Bahru and our first visit to Nasi Kukus Suriani. We choose fried chicken, Sotong (squid) and some vege, The fried chicken is must try,the texture was just nice. the sotong with curry is not extremely spicy, overall we are please with the patronage. the environment is an ordinary road side restaurant with reasonable price;if you are not mind with the setup, worth to try it.
