I have been a loyal customer of City Food Corner located at 1 Basic Bullet Borneo since 2013, that's 4 years now! I enjoy dining at this establishment because the food is always served fresh and they operate on a self-service basis, where patrons pay before eating. They offer a wide variety of food options and customers can fill their plates and eat until their closing time at 9-10 pm. The dining area is always clean, with dedicated staff for cleaning. Customers can also choose from a selection of local fruits when paying. The staff wears caps and clean uniforms. This restaurant is budget-friendly, with the cost of a "nasi campur" meal ranging from 5 to 6 Malaysian Ringgit, excluding drinks. One quirky observation is that despite the restaurant's popularity and apparent profitability, they still use an old and dirty plastic PVC pipe as a table number. As a regular customer who has been dining here since 2013, I believe the management should consider upgrading this aspect of their operations.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes with good variety, making it a great option for a week-long stay without getting bored. Prices range from RM7 to RM12 per meal, excluding drinks. They also serve late lunch, but please note that dinner is not available as lunch service continues throughout the evening.

This place is great! We ordered a bowl of laksa and loved its delicious curry and spicy flavors. One bowl is enough for two people. The nasi goreng was also flavorful and satisfying. We will definitely come back to this restaurant for lunch when we return to KK.
