Empress Chinese - Kotzebue

The food was hot and spicy. When a staff member asked if there was an issue with the dish, I informed him that it was merely too hot and needed some time to cool off before I could eat it.

Best Chinese food in Kotz! I've moved to Colorado, and I miss the Bread Pepper Chicken so much! My mom brought me some sauce, and now I’m tempted to fly back just to have it again.

The owners and staff here are absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is friendly, and it's a fantastic location right on Shore Drive. You can watch the ocean while enjoying some delicious food—it's an experience you won't regret. The cheeseburger was amazing, especially given our location on this planet!
