There is a menu now, but most people are just getting rice with vegetables. Since the staff spoke no english we had to order something from the menu. Topk us a while to figure out that beef' and chicken' are also vegetarian.
One of the dishes is an egg foo young type dish. The kitchen guy brings it the egg dish. To move it from the cooking tray to the serving tray he uses the tongs from the adjacent vegetable dish. He next puts the same tongs back in the vegetable dish. Thus the vegetable dish gets cross contaminated with egg cells. This has been pointed out to them numerous times in Cantonese. They just don't get it. I'd rate this place lower if I could. Updated from previous review on Monday April 20, 2015
It now offers 3 dishes and rice with suppe at a relatiw low price. the personal allowed me to change the rice to steamed dumplings because I didn't want to eat too much. there are 16 courts for the selection, I think all of them are visited meal. it served a large part of the meal. the taste of food I chose was good. I like the roasted bean curd plate most. bean curd rolls were kept hot except for the suppe.
I was very happy to know that there's a vegetarian restaurant so close to the train station where I could grab some simple food to eat before traveling, but I was a bit disappointed by the quality of food that they offered. I ordered a set meal with three dishes, rice and soup, but the dishes were very greasy (didn't taste bad but the excessive oil made it too heavy for my body). The staff was super friendly even though our communication wasn't very smooth.
