This is totally my favourite restaurant in Malaysia. The food is to die for. The people are friendly. The place is clean. And best of all no tourists. And cheap with good size servings. Full flavour food. Authentic and clean. My favourites were the fried king oyster mushroom, the salt and pepper tofu, the tomyam soup, the salted veggie taufu soup and the Ceder fried rice. But wow there are soooo many good dishes here. Don’t come to Kuala Lumpur without coming here. Total delicious authentic dining experience all run by volunteers. Not to be missed. It does get busy on weekend nights and I’m not sure you can book tables so come earlier if you can. Otherwise you can take a number and wait for a table like everyone else.
My regular lunch or dinner. Full air console with comfortable ambience. Eggs can be consumed on request. The service is attentive and the food is hot. Food is local dishes such as pasta and roasted rice. Can be eaten ala carte or order a few to share. Open on weekdays for lunch and dinner. But all day on weekends. Do not come as packing during the vegetarian festive days.
After a trip to more than 18 countries in the world, this is the best vegetarian restaurant for me! You can feel the quality of food as soon as you have tried. The price is so cheap, even cheaper than Hawker hands without air conditioning, but their foods always come in large portions. The restaurant is quiet and clean, including laundry room. I'll be back to KL every time I get back to KL. I’m currently trying on vegan diet all the time, most of the foods here can be done in vegan on request.
I am very surprised to know that the menu of this restaurant is mainly based on egg products. Very sad that we have very limited choices. It will be better if they can increase the dishes without egg base.
