Prem Sweets Kud

Bought 1kg pattisa while coming back from patnitop. Such tasty, fresh sweet. Now I regret of not buying more.

This is the perfect spot for those with a sweet tooth. The patisas and ladoos are absolutely incredible and a must-try. They are incredibly delicious and will leave you wanting more.

Prem Sweets is a popular destination in the area, situated in the town of Kud just a few kilometers downhill from Patnitop. It is conveniently located on the main highway before reaching Patnitop when coming from Jammu or Udhampur. Known for their delicious Patisa, it is recommended to also try other sweets made with desi ghee. The chocolate barfi is particularly impressive and many travelers stop by to purchase it for their journeys to distant locations, such as myself when I bought some for Delhi.

This particular sweet shop in Kud is well-known for its traditional sweet, patisha, which is made with desi ghee. Many tourists traveling back from Patnitop or Srinagar make a stop in Kud to try the famous sweets of the region. In addition to patisha, visitors can also sample kalakand and other sweet treats at this shop.
