I quite enjoyed my dinner here but i'm not sure if it was the most worth dinner I've had. We had the unagi tacos and that was definitely my favourite dish of the night- the sauce was so delicious and the taco shell was super crispy! The salmon and tuna sushi was also quite delicious too. If we didn't have the 30% off I'm not sure if I would come here again given the quite expensive prices! The sirloin was cooked well except it was quite average for $49.
Being Japanese, I understand flavors and what authentic Japanese food tastes like.<br/ <br/ Although I was not a fan of fusion Japanese, this place made me rethink this idea. Every bit of food here is done professionally, with pride and the menu cleverly combines flavours that really work well together.<br/ <br/ I've never been disappointed here, it is expensive but it is nice for special occasions with that fabulous view of the city.<br/ <br/ If I had to pick on anything, it may have been when I was there at peak time, and food was rushed out or delayed so there was no flow in service.
Sake is a classy modern Japanese restaurant with gorgeous views of the city and Yarra river. We had the classic menu that consists of the chef’s finest dishes and they did not disappoint. My favourites are the nori crisp with kingfish and cape grim short ribs flavourful, fresh and absolutely delicious!
Food was delicious but felt that the portions were too small and I left still feeling hungry. It's a little bit too pricey for what you're getting.
