We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment.We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new.The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. Last few months, I experienced something new: a consistently extraordinary fish and chip meal. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fish and chips is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core.In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for the famous belief that, anyone can fry food . But I realize, only now do I truly understand what that means. Not everyone can become a great fish and chip artist, but a great fish and chip artist CAN come from ANYWHERE. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Seaside Fish Chips, who is, in this critic 's opinion, nothing less than the finest fish and chip artist in Seaford.I will be returning to Seaside Fish Chips soon, hungry for more.
Good service, quick and efficient. Friendly staff. Food is fresh. It has become my regular go to for F&C. Highly recommended

Worst fish n chips ever! Too salty, too dry...disgusting. Also hopes if u get the orders correct. Never ever again. We only went here as others busy. Gross
Wasn't happy, had to wait 45 minutes when told 10 minutes. Potato cakes were raw, spring rolls were cold every thing else was oily and so much salt. They didn't seem to know what they were doing. Worst fish and chips ever.
