This place is homely and small.. you feel like in a special place! Calm music.. good wine from the owner Toni who is a somelier guiding you through the georgian wines. The food is perfect either. Felt like a perfect evening to us! We highly recommend this place!
One of the nicest places to have food in downtown Kutaisi. Friendly and attentive English-speaking servers, bohemian vibe. When we went there, there was live music which we liked. The food was tasty, in particular I liked the cucumber-tomato-walnut salad. There are some vegetarian and vegan options. I also liked their wine list, we decided on a Qvevri from Kakheti which was really good. Definitely a good choice for tourists in this area.
Palaty exceeded all expectations. With its cozy ambiance and friendly staff, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience. The Acharuli khachapuri, a traditional cheese-filled bread boat, was heavenly, and the special meal showcased the culinary mastery of the chefs. While the Chakapuli-stewed veal meat with tarago had a unique twist, it was still a delightful dish. The desserts were a symphony of flavors, and the generous portions ensured a satisfying meal. Whether you're a local or a traveler, Palaty is a must-visit for an authentic Georgian culinary adventure. Highly recommended for its warm atmosphere, delicious food, and attentive service.
Incredible! Fresh and lovely cucumber tomato salad, potatoes and mushrooms (my favorite), khachapuri. The wine was also great and the balcony is an incredible spot for a meal. Thank you!!!
