Good delicious food at a reasonable price. Fast service. Sits and tables. Nothing to complain.

I had quite low expectations of Italian food in a Japanese station, and I was surprised how good the food really was! This is located on the 11th floor of Kyoto Station, I think in the Food Paradise section. You have a fixed price option for $25 that includes appetizer, bread, main dish and dessert. You also have a la carte options. We have the fixed price plus an additional Entree, and that was just right for two people to share. The Prosciutto (ham) and Mozzarella Salat were delicious and fresh. We also really liked both the crab tomato cream pasta and the lamb with basil sauce. The Tiramisu tasted authentic. We would all order up again and suck up the sauces with our bread because we could not get enough. Yum!

Juicy hamburg steak with a whole baked potato was quite delicious and I will definitely try this again. Aside from the entree, a whole tomato salad was also good. Well, it is basically a peeled tomato with some dressing, but it was strangely good and was quite well with the hamburg steak. I was really satisfied with the lunch here.
