Green Tomate - La Cruz

The loud music and the vibrant colors have our attention. Very busy upstairs with live band so we stayed down, no problem to hear the music. The staff was excellent, the food was even better, the best shrimp Burrito ever. If I ever return to Mexico, I will make sure I return here.

Every time I go there, I get excellent service and good drinks.

March 2022. Update. A Tuesday evening with Iván playing guitar and me on harmonica. Good burritos. Shrimp, chicken, beef options. A happening place to be on a Sunday afternoon, but get there early! We got there just after noon and were able to get chairs along the outside but all the tables were filled. With the La Cruz Market on Sundays, there are a lot of people in town! The band began at 1:00 and are a great band, playing well known rock tunes, and the dance floor was full. They played till about 3:00 then a more country band came on stage. The servers could use one or two more are kept hopping! We didn’t eat, but had some good margaritas.

We just happened upon this place because others were full. What a lucky find it Was! First of all, we were lucky enough to get the last table for 4. The place was packed. No sun coming in and a refreshing breeze coming through. Great bar and grill upstairs with live music, great service.
