Man and I went around and we saw this Starbucks copy. we were all sweaty, dirty and tired after a beautiful and long walk in different cities. we expected a smile and a frozen coffee, but instead we wait for us to notice the bar near 15 minutes while the cashiers pretend, not see us and talk nonsense. As soon as we were noticed, the money was as if we were going to flee. She was so mean and she couldn't take care of the time when we waited. at the end we got a fake local artisanal coffee, but we saw that the fake coffee they get in any costco. Apparently, they have to dress like a license if they want to be treated well. we never come again!
After walking around town we were hot and thirsty. Saw this inviting large corner café with a log remarkably similar to Starbucks near the Cathedral. Fans running full blast to cool us, mellow salsa music, and comfortable couches and other seating for us to drink...our coffees and use the Internet. Very clean. Lots of choices for coffee drinks, teas, pastries and ice cream. The large plate windows to the plaza make this a great place to sit, sip, do internet, and glance at surroundings now and then.
Right across the street from the town square and church it's a good stop. Coffee is good and prices are also very good. One large cappuccino, 1 large Americano, 1 large regular coffee and a packet of cookies was 122 pesos) My only downside...is that it's very warm and stuffy inside and my drink was served in a paper cup even though we sat down in the shop to drink it. Also it would be nice if they had more food options besides cake.
