Avaliação da contribuiçãoI honestly don’t know why these restaurants cannot do better, be more authentic to the local food their own dishes and fresh fish instead it appears they cater for the frozen chip brigade of Europe. The menus are just cookie cutters of each other no specials either. Sat down for dinner, ordered drinks, wasn’t told unavailable menu items still advertised outside, by this point it’s too late to go elsewhere. Tapas is ordinary fare, nothing special lamb chops where terrible plainly grilled served with crappy salad that’s dry because it’s sat on the line too long and deep fried frozen chips, not nice. Disappointing and expensive for what resembles a standard Europe pub food. My advice would be put a few local dishes on the menu, make me want to come for your specials. Plain, absolutely boring food.
We have been coming to Villajoyosa on holiday for the past 13 years and always make a visit to this restaurant. Unfortunately, we found that this year the food was not as good as previous years and portions noticeably smaller. We also noticed that when we ordered wine by the glass our measures were considerably smaller than some of the other customers. Very disappointed as had planned to visit a few times on our holiday.
