Don Garcia's Mexican - Lacey

I'm picky about Mexican restaurants.  I grew up in Los Angeles and went to college in Arizona so I know good Mexican food.  I like Mexican food so well I learned how to cook it.  Don Garcia's is the real deal.  I have been there several times since the food and prices are so good and it is just a couple of blocks away.  The owner is great and takes an active interest in everything.  When I moved from AZ to the PNW I despaired of ever finding an authentic Mexican restaurant.  La Tarasca was good but who wanted to drive all the way to Centralia?  Now I have been to 2 great Mexican restaurants in the olympia; Ramirez in Tumwater and Don Garcias in Lacey.  Please take the time to let Don Garcia be your host.  You won't regret it.

Arrived at Don Garcia 's for a late lunch mid-week. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Don Garcia. It was obvious from our conversation that Mr. Garcia has a passion for what he does and he cares deeply about what he does. He informed me his goal is to provide an excellent dining experience for his patrons. My rating is based on my impression of Don Garcia; his commitment, inspiration, accomplishments, and work ethic as a business owner. 'Don Garcia 's ' is the 13th restaurant he has opened. To highlight his accomplishments, he has achieved all of this since he arrived in the USA in 1980. Can you believe that? Amazing! Owner/Businessman/Inspiration of Don Garcia 's 5Triple margarita 5 Homemade chips Salsa 4 Lol, only because my palate is so sensitive to 'Hot '.
