Avaliação da contribuiçãoDisappointed for the price. We booked this accommodation for the children's pools. You were great! We checked on Saturday and we were told that the household would come on Thursday. While the facility was minimal to cook, the towels and beds were refreshed. To my surprise, the floors were dirty. The bud on the base plates indicated that it was cleaned for months. Changed the utility until Monday and left a big top and a list to wash the floors. This Decision shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. The snacks in the on-site shop were exaggerated. $8 for a bag of Maui Chips? $12.25 for cream cheese for a bagel??? Food orders were delicious and expensive, but expected. Valet and baggage service was exceptional. And we were not disturbed by constant offers of time shares. No beach. It's washed away. Very sad. I'm sure they have a remedial plan, but it's going to be a big cost. Overall satisfied, but they need a better cleaning list.
The area is beautiful and right on the beach of Ka'anapali. Many things to do and so close to Lahaina. There's a lot to eat. The pool is beautiful! My boy loved the waterfalls and the slides. I will warn people that there is a daily tourist tax of about $45 you pay on the checkout. We also have a good look at our bill and discount that there is a pool towel fee (which they charge if you don't return towels) even if we stayed up on the return of our towels daily. They took it off when we... I just want to make sure people are aware. Rooms: Clean. Great view. Very nice bathroom area and comfortable beds. I like that I can decide to have cleaned it for the day and get $10 each time. Things to do near: Downtown lahaina, black rocky beach. There are some good snorkeling places just a short ride on the road. The mall is right there. And the resort offers a kind of daily activity such as lei production or Ukulele lessons (free). Walkability: 1.5 miles walk down the beautiful beach of Ka'anapali. There's a lot to do and see on the way.
My husband and I have been staying here for years. We book by Redweek. This is the best place we've ever stayed on this island. During this visit I noticed some things that were somewhat disturbing. Since the pandemic, they have removed the amenities in the room. The kitchen is not so storey, probably by theft, most used items such as bowls, wine glasses, etc. are in the upper shelf where it is not reachable for someone 5'4. No small plates available. They say cleaning and disinfectants are to be used in the room, but I don't see any. The housekeeping is bad. They did not replace cotton ball, smashes left opened by last tenants, dirty glassware, dirty placement, dirty floors, not made, ring in toliets, etc. No robes in the room. The care that the hotel uses is no longer there and you would expect it for the prices. If I were owner and the maintenance fee had to be paid, I would be very unhappy. The place shows his age. With all this I said I would still come to this place, but it will now and not every year.
The Hyatt is a luxury class hotel resort that supposedly offers a lot, restaurants, bars, decent rooms, grand (and very artificial) landscape, animals on site, a conference area.I was there for a conference and spent close to a week in the hotel. Overall, everything was fine, but considering the price underwhelming.Breakfast was steeply priced at $40 but all in all a regular buffet with decent assortments; nothing special or out of the ordinary. Few fruits, some varieties of eggs, little vegetarian options. Barely any fish .... (Strange for a place like Maui) this impression was met by all encounters with food at this place.... Nice, but underwhelming. The vicinity is outstanding, of course; it is and remains Maui, HI. The landscape within the hotel was very artificial though. Birds like parrots and even penguins are kept in cages or small areas felt like a weird and sad picture. The conference was on site, but the rooms and accessories were from the early 2000s. No audio equipment, projector images were so small, they were only readable from the first row. the entire business area was dark and depressing.Rooms: Room was large, had everything that I expected. The couch has seen a lot of people alreadyNearby activities: Tons of things to do in the vicinity on Maui.
Nice place with a beautiful hallway that has views for miles of Maui. Giving it 4 stars not 5 because of the weird courtyard feeling pool area it has. Hyatt Regency next door was blocking lots of sun throughout the day, so we ended up having to make the long walk next door to their pool (which was better) inorder to get to the sun. Shouldv'e just bought a big suite over there instead of staying at the Residence Club. Also, salesman for the Residence Club membership was trying to push us to purchase one each time we walked by. Good salesman try to sell a product, but great ones remember the faces of the prospective clients enough to not bother them each time they walk by, disrupting their conversations.
