Roy's Kaanapali - Lahaina

Although it is on the higher end in terms of pricing, the service at this restaurant is exceptional. We had dinner there and were genuinely impressed by the quality of the food, the attentive service, and the welcoming atmosphere. The recommended dish, the meatloaf, certainly lived up to its reputation. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, even if it was a bit pricey.

Although the prices are on the higher side, the ahi, Caesar salad, and roasted chicken (priced at $35) were all quite enjoyable. However, the vegetarian options left much to be desired. The hibachi grilled salmon was served damp and lukewarm, which was a letdown.

We came here for lunch as a family since we couldn't get dinner reservations. Fortunately, lunch turned out to be a great choice because it wasn't too crowded! The food was delicious and the service was great, just as we expected.

My husband and I recently visited for lunch and ordered the Kaanapali mixed grill. Overall, the dish was quite good, with delicious ribs and sauce, as well as a tasty macaroni salad. However, I wasn't a fan of the chicken; it lacked sauce and was supposed to be teriyaki, but it was undercooked on the outside and chewy on the inside. It definitely needed more cooking. My husband, on the other hand, enjoyed his plate and everything on it. I ordered a drink called the Hawaiian Tini, which was delightful, and my husband also liked his Mai Tai. I would definitely recommend this restaurant; it has an elegant atmosphere and great service. Plus, it offers a beautiful view of the golf course—perfect for a few rounds of golf!

My wife ordered the Mango Mojito, which she absolutely loved. We started with the harissa shrimp appetizer that our waiter recommended, and it was delicious. For our main courses, my wife had the butter fish and I chose the Au and shrimp. Both dishes were outstanding! The service was exceptional. While it wasn't the cheapest meal we've had in Maui, it was right in line with our expectations. We will definitely be back!
