Avaliação da contribuiçãoBlown away by the level of service for an allergy kid at Cape May's dinner service. Chef Rene went above and beyond. My tree nut, wheat, and egg allergy kid ate like a king tonight. Way more food then a 7 year old could possibly eat and they let him box up the leftovers. After the meal, he brought several other chefs out to meet my son and even had a signed menu for him with a Chef TJ sticker. Definitely recommend if you can get a reservation.Dietary restrictions: We manage tree nut, wheat, and egg allergies and are not safe with cross contamination so the kitchen had my son mark up the allergy menu with what he wanted and delivered him multiple courses from the back over the course of the meal. The portions were all large and he never felt like he was missing out on the buffet experience. The food was fantastic particularly the special dessert they brought out for him. Truly a magical experience.
This used to be my most favorite place to dine in all of WDW resorts. Not sure what happened, I suppose it will be blamed on Covid, but whew. No longer a favorite.Spent a recent Tuesday evening there for dinner and was actually shocked at how much had changed since the last (several years) visit. The selection was diminished, but more than that, what was there did not taste good. The clams were odd, not briny rather muddy in taste. The mussels were in a mishmash of tomato and onion? maybe? Skipped them all together. The non-seafood side had dismal looking choices (and the taste matched).Service was mediocre with the server bringing the check without being asked 30 minutes into our meal. No, they were not busy (a tell tale sign). The desserts were pitiful. Selection was nothing compared to what it used to be.So, we'll not return any time soon.
We had the most amazing dinner here. Service was amazing, our waiter Scott was the best we have had at any Disney property. Food was amazing and everything was fantastic.
This is a review of the seafood dinner buffet (i.e., not the popular character breakfast). The seafood buffet is a one and done for me. The fried fish/shrimp options taste like the frozen, dump out of the cardboard box, set your oven to 425 degrees and re heat meals from your local Sam 's Club. The steamed clams were barely warm. The fried clams were overcooked. Clam chowder was basically potato soup. The best options I had were the mashed potatoes, a tomato/mozzarella salad, and a piece of cornbread. Sadly, these were probably the best options because they may have been some of the only freshly prepared options. The signature bon bon dessert was tasty, but I wouldn 't come here for that. As others have noted, crab legs are not included in the price I didn 't order any, so I can 't comment on them. The service was fine, but for the price point, you can do better Disney...much better.
This was our second dinner here. We really enjoy it. Not really a bad price for Disney standards. I’m not much of a seafood eater just shrimp. Luckily they have two kinds of shrimp (steamed/fried) and both were good. The beef was tasty. Ribs were more tender than I would’ve expected. Mac n cheese for the kids was good. Had a little bit of one of the many salads and veggies too. More than enough options for people that don’t eat any seafood. All the chocolate desserts were delicious. Our server was friendly and very efficient.
