Turtle Bay Pub - Lake Country

This place is beautiful! Its been a family favourite for a long time now, my Dad loves it. The food is delicious, prawns and fish tacos fresh and perfectly cooked. Flatbread pizza and salad are all good too and a great selection of beverages. This is a great sports bar that has a friendly family feeling to it on a gorgeous lakeside marina. Massive shout out to Natalie who bent over backwards to make sure my Dad could get inside to one of his favourites as he has some mobility issues, she went out of her way to make sure he had the best lunch thank you thank you..you are a rock star to me!

We sat outside on their beautiful deck overlooking the marina and lake. Great deck! I love that we were allowed to bring the dogs but unfortunately they had to be tied up off the deck (not the restaurant’s rules but the municipality). Anyways, our waitress was amazing and got us a table near our pups. She even got the dogs fresh water. Thank you for doing that! The misters on the deck were wonderful. Their Turtle Bay Burger was delicious. The poutine was one of the best I’ve tried here in Kelowna and the peach tea, I’d have another if I hadn’t already had two! Thanks to our server and Turtle Bay Pub! We will be back soon.

Excellent food, with a good variety. Good vegetarian options. And great service. I’m local and this is a definite go to for my hubby and me. Great views too.

First off we have to wait 5-10 mins to be seated when it’s not that busy. Ok sure happens... Michelle is our server. Second I order wings and ask if I can get them dry with 2 sauces on the side, I’m told yes no mention of having to pay extra for 1 sauce. Proceeds to give me the wrong sauces, ask for the one I originally asked for. Brings it. Also when I try to order a beer, 2 of the ones I ask for are out. The third she suggest says to have a with a bit of slush as that’s what people do. Again no mention of extra charge for that. Get the bill, charged for 3 sauces! I asked for 2, at the most there should have only been 1 charge for 1 extra as there would be one on the wings if I didn’t ask for the sauce on the side, but again 0 mention of it, on top of getting my sauces wrong, there should have been no charge. Third charged almost $3 for an inch of slush in a small cup for my beer when I couldn’t even get what I asked for! Pathetic service, won’t be back to this place.

We went to this restaurant for the first time as locals this evening. Since it was happy hour, we expected the dishes to be on the smaller side. We decided to share 2 wings, 1 order of dry ribs, and a Caesar salad. For drinks, we both tried the tap cider mixed with peach Bellini ice, which was delicious. We sat on the patio, which had misters and plenty of umbrellas for shade, and enjoyed the refreshing drinks to keep us cool. The portions of Greek and lemon pepper dishes were surprisingly large and full of flavor. We ended up taking some leftovers home. In addition, we shared an apple crumble dessert, which was perfect. Special thanks to Damon for the excellent service. We will definitely be returning and would love it if the restaurant could introduce a trivia night during the off-season.
