Sagebrush Cantina - Lake Orion

I love Sagebrush, but I sat on hold for over 10 minutes to make a carry out order and NO ONE answered the carry out line. You can't do business if no one is there to take care of you.

Best Mexican food at the best prices. I don't know any other Mexican restaurant that beats Sagebrush, and I've tried many of them!

I ordered a takeout dinners and it was ready in 20 minutes. One was chicken tenders with fries and a bowl of chicken rice soup. There were plenty chicken tenders. The other was 1/2 rib dinner with rice and beans instead of fries. The ribs were nice and juicy falling of the bone. I ordered them with Jack Daniel's sauce. The beans and rice were delicious. Good price and service.

I enjoyed most of my meal at the Sagebrush Cantina in Lake Orion. The Chilis Relleno was unpleasant tasting; something was wrong with the poblano pepper and it didn't taste fresh. I couldn't finish it. The Mexican Bean Dip starter was very good. Our server was polite and attentive.

This is a Lake Orion classic. I grew up in Oxford and on occasion we would come here for dinner.This place really hasn't changed too much in the last 10 years which is a good thing. The food is extremely consistent and very well done. The portions are really large so come very hungry. Their chips and salsa is fantastic.I recommend the combos that they have if you are looking for a filling dinner. I've also just gone and gotten drinks and ate their chips and salsa which is fantastic as well. Vegetarian options: Let the staff know your dietary restrictions and they Will take excellent care of you. Parking: Downtown lake Orion can get very busy in the evening. There is plenty of parking within 2 to 3 blocks of the restaurant. There's also parking behind the restaurant.
