Griffin Cider House - Lakewood

Came for the first time for the pop-up catering of a friend and enjoyed this place. Great old world (read UK comfortable neighborhood oak bar and hospitality vibes.) Great staff lets you feel at home and very welcoming. High-quality cider and cocktails are the main event. I had a Fireside cedar that was slightly dry and tasty, and a Bourbon and Apple's cocktail (I know it's a gin joint, but I love Bourbon and the well is Dickel 8). A fucking good and delicious drink. Cool place once tried to go there and they were closed for the weekend, had to go back. Saw down and were not really funny fans before they get into this, but the server/bodier was really helpful and helped us get a good drink. Also the room in the back is neat and cozy Arta gives from Harry Potter vibes 4.5

I came here to read my book on a quiet Monday night. I was the only customer at 7pm until close but the bartender never pressured me or made me feel unwelcome. The drinks are great and the ambiance is cozy. I love this place so much and will bring company next time to spread the Griffin appreciation!

This is a hidden gem! I love the cider they have during the cold weather months. Come here for a super refreshing gin cocktail and stay for the amazing bartenders.

Craft Gin Cocktails are phenomenal! The gin selections are immense with many rare. It has a warm and welcoming true British pub vibe.
