Simply Thai - Lakewood

This restaurant is fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly, the place is spotless, and the food is outstanding—truly the best Thai food I've ever had. I highly recommend it, a solid 10 out of 10! I usually go there with my mother, and we visit at least twice a week.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced! However, the service was a bit frustrating. Our server accidentally spilled sauce on my friend and didn't bring her drink until she had to ask a second time. Additionally, the last appetizers arrived just as I was finishing my meal. I understand she was the only server on the floor, which explains some of the issues, but it still made for a somewhat disappointing experience.

The curry was slightly thinner than others I've had, but I found that refreshing. The flavor wasn't as strong as I expected for Mussaman curry, but it was still enjoyable. I appreciated that it was lighter than many other curries. My only complaint was that I found a piece of beef in my dish, which was a bit shocking in a vegan meal (I've included a picture). However, that won't deter me from ordering from here again, as I truly enjoyed the rest of my food.

I would call the food that I received from simply Thai hot mum, but it wasn't hot so I can't even give it this title. I received it from over eaten, but it was near the cold when it was just one of the several failing this court. blanket garnelen: absolutely inedible. the garnels were so dried up that I couldn't pull it off with both hands as hard as I could pull. the one I managed to get from the rod and bite was harder than cattle jerk. chicken wing: would have been pretty good if they were warm and not soggy. early roll were not hot again, but burned on the outside. tom kha suppe was ok. did not try the suppe yet, but the bark was all stuck together in two or three lumps in the container. has not provided any utensil or additional sauces on request. overall quite terrible take experience. spent $50 on what was only about $12.

This place is amazing! everyone is really nice, the restaurant is clean, and eating is amazing. best Thai food I ever had. 10 10 10 recommend! I'm gonna eat with my mother there. ? we go at least twice a week.
