Avaliação da contribuiçãoI loved this place! It was a great atmosphere, with good food and good beer. The service was great, it wasn't annoying, but made sure we took care of it. We won't be back!
One of our favorite places. The bar is so sweet and creative. The food is really great and the drinks for everyone. Beer for Nabeby mixed drink for me. I'm on a mission to try every meal on the menu.
Lancaster's Cheers. Most college cities have an old time bar / restaurant that do not try to innovate, but keeps on their weapons and keeps slinging beers and daily specialties. I held in a weekday and had a cup of chicken tortilla soup and half chicken salad sandwich on rye bread. Nothing amazing, nothing that blows my head, but a simple, non-filled option while catching up with an old friend. This place will not be a “thing experience” and it could not be your top choice for a first date, but if you have a pint and a bite, all without an arm and a leg, you will just do here. The proximity to the Lancaster Central Market is the key. My friend (a local) wouldn't have brought me here if she didn't think it was working for lunch as she goes regularly.
This place is fantastic. I've been more regular for 4 years, and it's definitely my 3rd place. Daily specialties including wing Wednesdays Bourbon glaze is the best!, taconite, fish n chips. Friendly atmosphere, great staff Val is the best server and we love Hillary! Rotating selection of craft beer on tap, chill atmosphere, local music on weekends. What else do you want?
Affordable Pub Food in an Amazing Victorian Atmosphere. DipCo has been a downtown Lancaster gem for 20+ years. One of the best places to hear original live music on Friday's and Saturday's mostly of which I would categorize as adult indie, Americana, folk, etc . DipCo is areas version of a Greenwich Village bar. Located in a restored Victorian home, the spot is one of the most beautiful bars I've ever entered and the owners do it justice year after year. Choice in tap beers seems to be skewed towards IPAs, but they usually have a token wheat beer plus Guinness is a staple. The menu is typical sandwich, pub fare. They don't have a deep fryer, so no French Fries. There are enough vegetarian options and stuff like nachos, etc. that can be easily modified for veggie lovers. I usually get nachos or the black bean burger which is flavorful, but on the dry side. Make sure you get it with a condiment cough, cough, the guacamole . Food wise it won’t be your most memorable meal, but ithe bohemian crowd is ALWAYS friendly, even to strangers. Overall DipCo is on the short, short list of best bars in town.
