Avaliação da contribuiçãoCows, pigs, goats, chickens, peacocks….what more do you need? Cow milking from 330-5p. Outdoor picnic area. Nursery with great variety. General store with the best homemade ice cream, on farm milk, great variety of preserves and baked items. Terrific place for young and old alike….plenty to see, eat and enjoy!
Merrymead is a working dairy farm that offers the local community a look inside their world. Freshly made ice cream is sold from the front windows during the summer season. You can grab a cone, then walk around the farm and say hello to som pigs, cows, and even a few rabbits. They can host kid’s birthday here, complete with hayrides around the property. Starting in late April they sell flowers and other garden plants with one of the best and most unique selections in the area.Be sure to check out the small grocery store inside any season for fresh milk and other local treats.
Our favorite ice cream spot! Kids love that it’s a little “experience” every time we go. They start milking the cows at 3pm everyday. I like that they also have a small market when you can grab things like milk and baked good.
This is our go-to ice cream spot when visiting our daughter's family in Lansdale. They have an excellent range of home-made ice cream flavors in a perfect kid-friendly farm setting. Our granddaughter loves seeing the cows and goats, sometimes bunnies and calves. I love the Graham Slam and Moose Tracks ice cream flavors. There are plenty of picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine and fresh country air.
A wonderful collection of homemade ice cream specialty flavored milkshakes and all sorts of things you could find at a farm store. You won't be disappointed. Also a nice farm experience to walk the kids around. They also do seasonal events.
