Staff Rude. Food was poor, very simple and tiny portions. Wouldn't mind if I were back. Very disappointingly damped the last leg of our stay in Mexico. Rubbish.
Received a 30 dollar voucher , for two, when our flight was delayed. Started off with a beer, and when we went to order we were told we could not apply the beer to the credit. Do they really need liquor sales that bad? I...ordered wings and my wife tortillas. The wings were large but not cooked enough, my wife's meal was fine. Overall it killed time before the flight but would not go again even if was free.
Henry J Beans sits in the area where the airline gate is located and you have gone through safety. The selection of foods should be sufficient for any appetite. I chose the crispy chicken slaughter. It would have been a great sandwich if it had more chicken fingers. I counted two small pieces. The price for 2 chicken pack sandwiches, a beer, and a virgin Pina Colada was $22 US with lace. As I said, the taste and the cost are great. I'd like a little more chicken.
An airport bar on the sterile side of security should really know their clientele better. The airport and the bar serves primarily American tourists. A reasonable expectation in 2016 is that any bar will have at the bare minimum a house white and a house...red. They had no white wine available. A simple order of chips and guacamole took almost 15 minutes and was served after the adjacent table received beef nachos which were ordered well after I placed my order. The staff seemed very disinterested almost catatonic. My best advice skip this place and keep your good memories of the typically excellent service in PVR!
