Me and my family never come back, I won’t recommend people come to GEN KOREA BBQ ON WEST SAHARA . Highly non recommend. My experience is very very bad and horrible ??? not deserve to have any star
Used to be really good but now they substituted some good items with bad ones. For example the KFC chicken used to be actual fried chicken and now it’s chicken nuggets. I will not be coming back unless they bring back the old items l.
Gen used to be our favorite spot in Vegas. Seems there's been so many changes, good ones, but it's just different. I'm adaptable, so no harm. What I miss the most is the culture of the staff. They used to love their job, it showed in their customer service. They used to be friendly and warm, and you felt welcomed. Now, yikes! You can tell they hate working certain busy shifts. They're friendly, but it's forced. Fake it til you make it. Staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Their portion control is also unreasonable when you're with a group. That left us over ordering, as we thought they just forgot about us. Makes for a less than great experience that we were once used to.I do understand that change is slow, I hope that one day I'll be able to come back and update my review to say what it used to.
Food was great. The service could’ve been better but everyone was super busy because it’s a popular place.
Nothing much was explained to us, including differences in food choices. House music so loud we couldn't have easy conversation at our table to make matters worse, our wait staff person was wearing a mask so her speak was muffled no lip-reading to help us out. We were only provided 1 type sauce some salt, which is nuts considering you're cooking seafood, beef, chicken, veggies etc. This was the least enjoyable Korean bbq experience we've had, out of probably 5 of them over the years in/around Las Vegas.
