Avaliação da contribuiçãoMany times in the summer this was the first winter hike. but with snow. from the parking lot on the lake of lonely leads the hike over semi-frozen waterfalls. the sun is very low, starting the hike at 10:00, the only warming rays are just over. the hut. views are stunning, doggy has a ball in the snow and streams. no hut is operated in December, but still open as it is the case with most sac huts. a small kitchen and a few dormitories are available for those who want to sleep there. the 600m difference in height from the parking lot are at some places steep, never dangerous and very well marked. with a full snow blanket, for lawinen!
Been many times in summer, this was the first winter hike...but with next to no snow.From the parking at Lauenensee, the hike takes us past semi-frozen waterfalls. The sun is very low, starting the hike at 10:00, the only warming rays are just above the hut. Views are stunning, doggy has a ball in the snow and streams.No hut is not operated in December, but open nevertheless, as is the case with most SAC huts. A small kitchen and a couple of dorm are available for those who want to sleep there.The 600m altitude difference from the parking are at some points steep, never dangerous and very well marked.With a full snow cover, watch out for avalanches!
Auf dem Weg der sehr abwechslungsreichen Tour vom Parkplatz beim Lauenensee via Geltenschuss zur Hütte und zurück via Chüehtungel zum Parkplatz ist diese Hütte für einen Halt sehr empfehlenswert. Das Essen ist gut und der Service freundlich. Sehr erstaunt hat uns, dass es zudem explizit erlaubt ist Picknick mitzubringen. So verpasst man allerdings die währschaften und vom Hüttenwart liebevoll zubereiteten Speisen...wir haben kein Picknick vermisst (;
