Palais Royal - Laval

I think we paid €16.95 (young kids cheaper) for the buffet. Visit as many times as you like. Great value. Food was good. Various Chinese dishes, sushi, salad bar, and much more. Drinks reasonably priced. Pace yourself and graze.

Arrived 19.40 Most places on buffets already full the rest where being filled. They were topped up regulary for the two hours we were there. Oysters, mussels, scallops prawns a huge selection of seafoods. Lovely faux filets, lamb chops, slices of beef, chicken with lots of veg you can have stir fried with a sauce of your choice with a choice of noodles. Sushi, dimsum, spring rolls, noodles, two different fried rice dishes, duck, chicken, squid, frogs legs, various potato dishes, nems, salads, two fridges of sorbets ice creams, fresh fruit fruit salads much much more. Microwave to heat your food if you want, childrens play room, indoor smoking room, friendly staff. It is decorated really nicely everything was very clean, great value for money at just over 16€ per head.

We decided to try this restaurant, because our neighbour (we have a house in France) told us he thought it was better than our local favourite. The food was no better than where we would normally go (Delices Wok), but the atmosphere was not as good. The tables were too close together and the staff seemed less personable. We ordered our drinks, which seemed expensive and then set about selecting our food. The selection is similar to that to which we are used, but the choice for the Wok section is less good than it could be. The price for the food is comparable but, overall, we did not think it as good value as our local favourite. There is nothing that would prevent us from returning but, given the choice, we'd always go for our local favourite which, we like better and, anyway, is about a mile closer to our house.

Really not good, unmangeable limit. arrived at noon in the first at the buffet, the smell of the products leaves a desirer, I have no more than one assiete on the buffet d'entrees. and wanting to take the hot dish, it still had a smell like the product of the day before was not picked up in the fridge.So I went to pay directly and I didn't want their fidelity card. The wok has a lapeyre quota or the Chinese side of the leclerc are without better comparison. Resto a eviter

Dinner on a Saturday evening with friends (16.90€ the buffet, no à la carte dish, 3,80€ the house cocktail, wine at different prices ). large space with typical décor, clean, pleasant and discreet staff. very varied and good buffet: shrimps, bulots, oysters for seafood; Various doughnuts: shrimps, bananas, st jacco walnuts, composed salads, sushi area, cantonal rice, soy rice, onion beef (very soft), pork, duck., mushrooms., grilled area and wok with different meats and fish (seededed cakes, shrimps, calamars). desserts were pretty basic: ice cream trays with whipped and liquid chocolate available, clementines, licks, yogurts, nougats, creams. in summary a pleasant evening in a quiet place, enjoying a good meal according to the tastes of each one.
