Local Republic - Lawrenceville

After a one time cold gumbo served to me a few months back everything from then on and before has been perfect. One mistake in all these countless visits since they opened. I am talking original location until now. One mistake. That is why I am reposting a review. Everyone gets one. Today Erik took care of my family with attentiveness, kindness, wit and humor. This is still and will always be the best place in Lawrenceville for craft beers and unique eats. Although I am not a huge French frie guy they were pretty good this visit. Great dipping sauces to go with them. Green Goddess was on point. Sat downstairs for the first time and it is as cool as the upstairs. Your eyes will take in the great design, your mouth will water from the food and drink and your feet will be running back for more.

Great experience today. We had a corner booth with a kitchen and bar view! Great to watch all the action. Our server Adrienne C. was fantastic and the food and wine were terrific. Cheers!

Love the new location. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and very helpful. I ordered the shrimp and grits (again! and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. Fantastic view of the historic courthouse on the square in Lawrenceville, with the Christmas lights and decorations. Highly recommend!

I️ have been to Local Republic four times in the past year. I️ have never found the service or the food anything but outstanding. Each time, I️ ordered something different. The prices are good for this type of establishment and menu. Those with fast food appetites and budget will not appreciate.

I love the atmosphere. The food was delicious. Our service was spectacular. I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend reservations!
