Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe absolute best burnt ends and ribs I have ever eaten!! This is my favorite BBQ restaurant! The food is unbelievable and the restaurant decor and atmosphere is wonderful. This summer the outdoor dining and corn hole games will be a must. LOVE this restaurant. You must try their beef brisket, pork, turkey, sausage, wings, fried pickles as well.
When we walked in the door, we were greeted by a delicious smell. After we had a chance to look at the menu, we were then greeted by the friendliest staff. We had questions and they had the answers. I wish I got the name of the woman who took our order, she was fabulous! We ordered the pimento cheese starter (delicious), the Cheesy Hog Fries (delicious) and the pit beans (yummy with some meat including their sausage)! Next time we will try the burnt ends. Service was great, food was amazing. Definitely will be going back!
This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and it was amazing! The large, juicy steak, delicious curly fries, and creamy mac and cheese were all fantastic. Barry welcomed us and enhanced our dining experience. I can't wait to return and try more dishes!
The burnt ends were good once they were reheated. We ordered the pick 2 option and shared it, getting burnt ends, sausage, beans, and fries. The salad I ordered came out with our main meal instead of before. The meat was cold and we had to find our server to address the issue as they were huddled around the host stand chatting. The sauces were unique but not to our taste, especially if you prefer a sweeter sauce. When the food was brought back out, we had to remind them about our side of fries. Overall, with so many great BBQ options in Kansas City, we will not be returning to Meat Mitch's.
I ordered the Naked and Afraid sandwich with macaroni and cheese. Starting with the positives, the restaurant is in a great location that is very clean and well maintained, with a vibe that appeals to millennials and Gen Z. The atmosphere and layout are nice, making it a decent option for a quick lunch with a coworker. However, if you're looking for outstanding food quality, you may want to try somewhere else. The portions are small and overpriced, and the sandwich, side dishes, and sauces were not that impressive. The macaroni and cheese was disappointingly bland, not comparing to places like Joe's, Q39, or Jack Stack. I probably won't return since there are much better BBQ places to eat at. Apologies!
