Avaliação da contribuiçãoCalverley Grill@Oulton Hall Leeds not sure about the new decor (maybe lost some of of it's former granduer) but the cooking is still good. The set meal for Dinner is geat value at £30 and the a la carte menu looks as though it has some interesting choices.
We dined with friends and were disappointed with our experience. Our friends, who had eaten there before, mentioned that the food quality had declined. We all ordered the ribeye steak, which was not up to par. We had to request water three times before it arrived. The overall standard of the food did not justify the prices. During breakfast on our first morning, we found a dead dragonfly among the tomatoes, which we had to bring to the attention of the staff. On the third morning, the hot buffet was poorly managed with empty dishes and no plates available. When I asked a staff member about it, she quickly went to the kitchen without addressing the issue. Additionally, my husband requested another coffee which never arrived, leading us to give up on our meal. Overall, the lack of attention to detail and poor customer service left us underwhelmed.
The service at this restaurant is excellent. The waiters are polite and friendly. The menu is varied and interesting, with well-cooked and well-presented food.
I need to book another hotel. The entire experience was top-notch from start to finish. We stayed here over the weekend on a golf and spa package. The staff, from reception to housekeeping to the bar and restaurant, as well as the spa and golf facilities, provided a first-rate experience that deserves recognition. Oliver and Reece were outstanding employees, just like all the others whose names we couldn't quite remember. The place was clean, efficient, and had a wonderful atmosphere with delicious food. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience. A big thank you to Oulton for providing such a great experience, we will definitely be returning.
We had a delightful Sunday lunch at the Calverley Grill in Oulton Hall. The staff was welcoming, the decor of the hotel and restaurant was beautiful, and there was a good variety of options on the Sunday lunch menu. The price was very fair considering the quality of the meal and the ambiance. After our meal, we enjoyed coffee in the lounge area, which had comfortable sofas and chairs. There were fewer diners than we anticipated, but that is likely just a reflection of the current circumstances.
