Avaliação da contribuiçãoOn Sunday six of us went to osteria l’orto di ameste in the small, charming village of le serra, high above lerici. we stayed in a villa right on the road and discovered osteria l’orto di ameste on a walk earlier in the...day we came and were warmly welcomed, shown on our table, from which we could see the lights of lerici and the golf of poets below, and were made to feel comfortable and home. osteria l’orto di ameste ever changing, simple and compact menu uses the full use of fresh, locally produced supplies for its ingredients. the often baked local sea bass with fresh cocktail tomato and seasoning was raised. my spaghetti with anchovy, tomato, olive oil and subtle flavors was filled with taste, while the celiac in the group was treated with gluten-free penne with fresh tomato, olive, olive oil and a hauch of chili. a real tasty bite. we washed all this with a very modest, locally produced la merla della miniera. osteria l’orto di ameste dishes are uncomplicated, fresh and shocked full of delicacies. if in the opposite, get out of lerici and give this precious stone a try.
This is my first TripAdvisor review. I have made a reservation for the sake of the golf of poets and was resurrected by the one that has been discussed here. I sent a month ahead by email and was sure we had one. in front of the terrace with view. we arrived and I ignored the youths who sit and drink right under the restaurant while we went on. the server showed me on a table on the back of the terrace, while two at the front were empty with view. I explained, and they said that the tables were reserved for people before me (no waiting) and they offered me a table closer to the kitchen. When I showed them the confirmation email, they asked the owner/cook in the kitchen. He came out and in booming Italians told me: "this is your table"! and pointed to the next to the kitchen. we went to bonta nascoste in lerici, where they treated us super, and the food was the best - all of it - especially lobster, mush and kalbsal. Another restaurant that treated us beautifully was ristorante – even gave us pasta for a sick family member to go to the hotel. the bottom line is this restaurant not even in the same league. do not get lost from the reviews. go to the other restaurants and they will be much happier.
This is a good restaurant that I have visited in the past when I recently appeared that it does not deal with summer temperatures or customer level. the position looks west into the sun, so that with the heat wave we literally boil. under the roof of the outside terrace. install simple ceiling fans would solve this problem! the eating is good, but the Fretto mute was less crispy than in the past and the part was smaller than in the past! other diners were satisfied with their attitudes. the personal is friendly, but the service was much slower than in past. the summer comes every year they have to deal with their game to the elevated temperatures and the number of diners.
That we had held during a day stay in lerici. the staff is very friendly and professional, I enjoyed the parmigiana di mare as an appetizer and I also found the pasta well. the variety of fritted fish was average quality. we drink no wine and the bill was a little cheaper than expected.
The fried anchovies, the linguine alle vongole and the chocolate cake (flourless) are absolute musts. The setting is friendly and welcoming, with a cosy outdoor terrace with beautiful sea view. Worth a detour from Tellaro and Lerici and their often overrated restaurants. Booking is advised...if you want one of the tables on the very edge of the terrasse.
