Avaliação da contribuiçãoOn the first day of our Hols called for light lunch. As a party of 4 we ordered a hotdog de Gaulois. Absolutely delicious, but extremely large in a baguette. One between two people would have been more than enough. Very recommended.
On the day this is a delicacies dinner, but in the evening they use the room for a unique and special culinary experience for only 14 people. You just have to invite. With all the products in the Deli they create some of the best fondue I've ever tasted. They are the only one in the city to serve a fondue with the ubiquitous Beaufort with Tomme de Montagne. The result is sublim and not to miss. The cheese is also cut and prepared on the Deli counter, so you know how fresh it is. Great value also at 30 euros for two. The experience is quite rustic, as the place is small, but the ambience is great when the pair that serves you is very attentive. You are also very generous if you are made of meat with your fondue (if it is about how not all of them do) then you can do as much as you want. The wine list is limited, but good for the size of the place. Definitely worth a visit if Fondue is your thing.
A great small place we stumbled in the centre of Les Deux Alpes. It is served during the day as a delicacies dinner and a restaurant for lunch/night. It sits only about twenty and feels like a family business. The menu... is refreshingly short and is essentially limited to what the shop sells, namely cheese and sausage products. We had an excellent raclette with a very inexpensive bottle of local wine. Given the local prices it seemed not expensive, but was better in quality than many of the other places we visited.
The place is definitely charming and has it's nice mountain character. Prices are relatively high (for food like raclette and fondue, that you basically cook yourself at the table), but in line with other restaurants in the resort. Cheese seems to be high quality, so...that explains it to some extent. The owner was a bit cold with us and it wasn't so easy to understand each other (our French was limited, and so was her English).
Very nice and friendly local restaurant for cheese fondue, ham, saucisson, and homemade ice cream! I went here with boyfriend and his friend for cycling in the Les Deux Alpes. The friends recommended this restaurant and booked a table as they knew I love cheese...and ham. The restaurant is not big but full of interesting stuff. The owners are very nice couples. They loved to talk to guests, and all people here looked like a family. There are also some seats outdoors for the daytime. They also supply special blonde beer tasting like lychee! The only thing is that as the restaurant is very busy, if you want ice cream, you have to be patient to wait for a while. But it is worthy for the best ice cream in the area!
