Restaurant le Chateaubriand

Popped in after horse riding and found the advice great although English not spoken (out bad not theirs)!. We've eaten out lots in the region and this was one of our best meals, plus it was exceptionally good value. We had menu de jour for 14euro each, delicious choices and everyone was happy from our 9 year old upwards.

Original and very interesting festival. Very different but charming performances. And everything in a very pretty city that we have this opportunity discovered.

Good, solid food, well prepared at a decent price and above-average service. We ate here perhaps a half-dozen times in six weeks, and the food never disappointed. Some of the soups were as good as we've had anywhere.

Hard to find a good ala carte menu, no dessert please and keep the cost down. Does anybody serve dinner in less than 2 hours in France? This is a good choice, the hidden terrace dining room is the best option, don't be confused by the up stairs bar and bistro, opt for the terrace, opt for the grilled duck breast.
