Forgotten Willow is a small, independently owned shop specializing in teas. Not the kind made and drunk on site, but the kind taken home and brewed there. These are tea leaves for the tea purists who eschew tea bags. The offerings are in small, lidded container with labels detailing the ingredients and caffeine content. While you cannot always tell what a tea is like just from smell of the leaves, you can get an idea from the list of ingredients. What you can't figure out from all of that, the owner will explain, and offer a recommendation on the length of time needed for that particular tea to brew properly. Looking for something particular? She also will special order for delivery to home or pickup from the store. Forgotten Willow takes its commitment to natural seriously. It's offerings don't stop with teas, but also go to herbs, salts, and sugar alternatives. It's part tea shop, part herbal shop. I walked out with some teas I haven't tried before including one that needs to brew much longer than I'm used to, but sounded delicious. Can't wait to try it..
