City Barbeque - Lexington

Lexington is a city of good eating. Good restaurants everywhere. But this is different. Hands down the best barbecue this side of Nashville. Polite helpful service, comfortable down to earth atmosphere, but the very best BBQ I've *ever had. I can't believe it took me this long to eat here. I frequently take my little Yorkie to Feeders Pet Supply to wash him and always meant to stop in City Barbeque. But they even gave me a little complimentary bowl of pulled pork for my pup ? ?... great ppl as good as the food!

This was a first time visit for us. We really enjoyed the food. The Texas toast is one of the best in town. Overall a pretty affordable meal as well. The peach cobbler was great. I am definitely looking forward to trying some more sides.Follow us for more great reviews Food: 5/5

I'm not trying to bash city bbq cause normally I love it. The brisket is my favorite but not this time. It was tough, didn't taste like brisket at all, didn't taste smoked. Like I said, I love city bbq but I think different locations taste better than others. Not consistent from store to storeFood: 1/5

The brisket sandwich was one of the best I've had. We love coming to City barbeque. Every time we ask for small extras such as pickles they are happy to help and service is always friendly. Love coming here. I would love it if they brought back the gumbo!Food: 5/5
