Avaliação da contribuiçãoFood: The food was warm and homely. Felt authentic Thai food. The chef was kind to even made an exception for me to make a vegan Thai yellow curry. Price: We ordered two main dishes with a jasmine tea and it costed us 33 euros which is pretty much the standard elsewhere in the EU. So, I wouldn’t really call it overpriced. Ambiance: Subtle and elegant decor. I suggest to keep a business casual look. It would be a perfect fit for the place.
We visited on 14 July for lunch... the soup was impressive n reminded me of the local food corner behind my hotel in Thailand but the Pad Thai Cravatte totally disappointed. It was oily n was missing the touch of Thai. The mixed starters were also OK.
We had lunch in Le Bistro Thaï last week, and were happy to arrive early because a couple of minutes later, the room was full, and people were already waiting in line to get a table. Not a big suprise considering that the room is really small. However, we had a feeling that the people here tried to make too much out of this small room by squeezing in as many tables as could physically fit, the result being a very noisy atmosphere, and no privacy at all. The food was OK, but really not more that average, and when asking jasmine tea to drink with ou rmeal we were disappointed to be offered a so small teap pot that once you had filled you first cup (and more of a capuccino size than a BIG cup of tea) that was it.. Is hot water that expensive in Lille ?
Adoring Thai cuisine I never did this restaurant. He just passed the number in this specialty. I took a dish with two peppers. I usually treat myself, but I don't digest myself. Surprisingly I had the spicy promise without the side effects I'll test the other dishes regularly. The magret duck curry red a feast !!!!
The dishes are delicious and the impeccable service. I highly recommend this address to those who love Thai cuisine.
