Bambu - Lima

Seeing as Bambu on Benavides is closed for remodeling, this is for Bambu in Mega Plaza! Bambu has the best ceviche we have ever tasted! It is a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian foods and never disappoints or makes us sick. Follow it with a great Maki, we prefer the Banana Tori or Avocado maki and finish it with the Vietnamese Summer rolls and a pot of Jasmine tea for a perfect lunch! I only wished I could give it six stars!

It would be hard to define Bambu, but maybe Peruvian/ Japanese would be close. The place has a fast food feeling, and yet they have really great food, their Sushi is different but tasty, I tried the Laksa de langostinos soup and my wife and I are still talking about how good it is. We really couldn't believe how affordable this place, we highly recommend it if you like Asian, and are willing to try something with a slight different taste at a great price

We tried the Pad Thai, does not bear any resemblance to the real thing, not a peanut in site, wrong noodles. egg rolls not bad will not go back.

We tried Bambu for a light supper. The maki rolls and house drinks were quite good, with good quality ingredients. The interior is light, clean, and has a whimsical fun decor.

Really good value for money very casual restaurant. So cheap for what you get, a good variety of Asian cuisine from Japan, Vietnam, Thailand etc. HAd the laksa, fried rice, spring rolls, and chicken wings. Good place for a cheap and casual Asian lunch experience.
