Avaliação da contribuiçãoFive went for Christmas lunch there. We spent But then the bill came to On top of the food bill there was vat charged twice at and We were baffled by it but the waitress said it was vat on food. The menu didn't have vat applied to the cost of the dishes. I brought a bottle buck fizz to mark Xmas. The waitress saw it and told us to put it away which we did. We ordered a bottle of wine for of our party and cocktails for the others. We believe the innocent buff fiz was the real reason for the vats being charged. We wont be back, loved the food but not how we treated when we got the bill. Never again
I am a student at TUS and we were encouraged to go out and sample the café culture in clonmel and write a review of our favourite business. The junction is best example of what the standard of quality should be when it comes to staff, service and produce. The decoration is very inviting and cozy. The open bar and kitchen give it a nice busy atmosphere and I especially like the big aquarium/fishtank with all types of crazy fish. I arrived with two friends and we were seated quickly and provided with a menu. I came to review the coffee but after reading the menu I decided I had to try the food also. I ordered a sweet chili chicken wrap with a side of vegetable soup and was very content. For the coffee I decided on a Americano, since I already know how good the latte is from the junction café. The americano was decent. It was slightly weak in terms of the flavours but tasted like it came from a quality roasted coffee bean. The cup size was smaller than the average coffee cup and combined with the price it was lacking the quality or flavour in my opinion. I much prefer the latte from this café which has the milk steamed perfectly and it always has a creamy taste. My friends had ordered toasted sandwiches with tea and had no complaints although they aren't coffee drinkers and didn't offer much help with my review. I was very happy with the experience overall. I would rate the food and the latte much higher than the americano. The staff were great and didn't bother us and the whole experience is a taste of what the service industry needs in clonmel.
After hearing a lot of buzz about The Junction, I finally decided to give it a try. I was impressed by the friendly staff, excellent music choices, and diverse menu options. It was a bit disappointing that they closed at 6pm, but I still had a great dining experience. Even though the prices were a bit steep for daytime dining, the quality of the food made it worth it. I will definitely be returning on my trips to nearby Cahir, since it's conveniently located just across the street.
The food was tasty, but I thought the children's portions were overpriced. The kids' plates were also a bit gaudy, shaped like guitars and made of plastic. I would prefer if older kids were served on regular plates instead.
I had a great experience at the Junction Cafe. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff were polite and well-trained. My only complaint is that the children's portions were a bit overpriced. The restaurant has beautiful surroundings, with animal statues and a fish tank that made my daughter very happy. I would definitely recommend the Junction Cafe as a dining option and I plan to return in the future.
