Great interior environment, food was only so so to my personal taste, broccolini not soft enough, prime rib only available Tuesday and weekend, plan your trip, need to make a reservation for 7 people, bread was bit too dry and hard, salad was a cabbage cut in half, expect a bit more veggie options. Pricey and not great portions. The only reason I eat at High Steaks is because my mother is a player there. $50 get you a 16 oz prime rib. Yes it 's really good, but nothing else comes with your meat. No potato, salad, veggies, nothing. A baked potato cost $12 separately. EVERYTHING is ala-carte. And be aware. Prime rib Tuesday special is $39 bucks, but not on the menu. And if you don 't specifically tell them Tuesday prime rib special , they will charge you full price. My wife and I are back at High Steaks Steakhouse at Thunder Valley again... I had to try something new and, of course, enjoy a filet mignon while I was at it. This is our third or fourth visit at this point. The food is pretty solid, and the wait staff is fantastic! Our waitress Danya went out of her way for us, provided us with some great recommendations, and even provided me with a sauce I didn't know was on the menu to try. Ordered an 11oz filet mignon, Yukon gold puree potatoes, and my appetizer was crab cakes. Crab cakes were decent, was my first time having them, and tbh I wasn't sure what to expect. The 11oz filet mignon i ordered came out cooked perfectly medium rare, seasoning was on point as well. Puree Yukon Gold potatoes were very good, even though I'm not a super big fan of very creamy potatoes.
