Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe staff was very friendly and service was good as well. The food was delicious and will go back there again.
I had booked a casual gathering to celebrate a birthday. Was a large booking about 18 - 20 people so I went up to the restaurant the week before to discuss numbers and menu. When we arrived our table in a semi-private area was not ready so after a long delay they put us on a long table that was effectively the pathway for the wait staff in front of the open kitchen. We complained and they didn't seem to care just said other unexpected tables had arrived (with heaps of small children) and weren't moving and what did we expect them to do. Ummm perhaps 1) honour a booking 2) accept walk ins but explain the area was booked at a certain time so would have to be out 3) apologise rather than give the booking holder attitudeThe food was good, nothing amazing but fine - certainly would appeal to children but the attitude and trying to make excuses for their error left a really bad taste in my mouth
The restaurant is well located near Lindfield station, and the interior has a lovely ambience. Unfortunately the food is poor. The tasting plate is over priced and not very nice. The spaghetti marinara, which included one prawn, one calamari and 2 tiny mussels, was pedestrian, the pasta tough and flavourless. The pizza was impossible to pick up as the pizza base was not cooked and limp. Won't be going back.
Popular restaurant for all. Selection of of entrees are good and the wood-fired pizzas are tasty and made with fresh ingredients.
I recently dined at this restaurant with my wife & friends and was expecting something special due to the restaurant being very busy plus the rating on FaceBook.Instead we were very disappointed. The staff seemed friendly enough and the food came quickly, but the food itself was a disappointment. We ordered pasta, one marinara and one carbonara. The marinara had one prawn and a small amount of other seafood pieces. For both of them the pasta itself was breaking constantly while trying to eat it and had an almost wholemeal pasta texture to it. I would say that they are not using enough Durum wheat and or the percentage of protein was lower than it should be for pasta. We also ordered two Neapolitan style pizzas that were way to thin towards the centre and due to this very soggy. A common mistake but didn't expect it in such a busy restaurant. We ordered a bottle of pinot noir and being Italian I can not eat pasta without a bottle of red. The cheapest pinot noir was $55, which is fine if the wine is drinkable. Sadly the wine was very average indeed.
