That is not just a meal, but an experience. even if the owners apply it as a restaurant with rooms, they are not misled. from the moment of arrival to the departure we were thoroughly sought. our room (no1) was immaculate and spacious with 4 poster bed coffee machine and teacooking facilities twd (a selection of i would suspect, 100 dwd are available in the entrance hall) and bose iPod docking station. the bathroom had both a bath and a shower. for our evening meal we started in the relaxed environment of the lounge with canapés and gave the time to live the dinner menu, the employees were very attentive with a full understanding of menu and wine list. without going into detail, we had the 6-course cup menu and I can honestly say that it was perfection, I understand that every taste is different (I would have a crispy brot preferred with the pate, but that is personal choice), but think that this is the whole point of this menu to explore the taste combinations. not bad for a taff is an understatement and susan runs seamlessly in front of house with help very competent waiting for the staff. would I stay again? you bet I would and will next time bring some family and friends, this really wonderful experience with

Been visiting here since before Chef Brian got his M. Star. I can 't fault the place ... in any way! Excellent hospitality. Stunning food worthy of a detour , as the guide says, and I can report from our the last 2 visits, very recently, that it 's getting even better than ever before. Chef serves up the best Sunday lunch I 've had, anywhere. Wow!

Stayed just 1 night using Travelzoo voucher. Included 6 course taster menu we added matching wines. Fantastic in every respect. Food was wonderful best lamb we have ever tasted. Staff friendly very professional. All guests made to feel special pampered including our spaniel Joe. Just a cracking spot for a break !

Simply one of the best meals I've had. Service was great too. We had 6 course taste menu we all couldn't decide which was the course. Truly outstanding.
