I got the footlong BOGO from the app, 2 turkey sandwiches is what I ordered. I went to eat one and it had chicken instead of turkey. I went back the next day to hopefully get a replacement and before I could ask about a potential remake, the owner became hostile and started to raise his voice at me because it was “free.” I had only said that I got 2 sandwiches when he cut me off and started yelling that. When I tried to interject that it was wrong and I was just looking for a remake, he kept interrupting and getting mad. I said that I was nicely going to ask for a remake and he said he “didn’t care that it was nice, I already got a free sandwich.” I was not going to be upset had he said no to a remake, but he had started getting hostile and yelling immediately. I showed him the sandwich that he used chicken instead of turkey and he got even more mad and went to remake it. What is even worse is he was the only person working the previous night, so I have reason to believe he purposely messed it up after this interaction. I told him that I ordered the sandwich and it is up to them to make it correctly the first time. He told me that I was ungrateful and I always get free sandwiches and it would be a waste. He said he would get rid of the BOGO for everyone else and that it would be “because of me.” While standing over my sandwich, he kept trying to engage in an argument with me over the fact that I always use the BOGO. He said that I don’t have the courtesy to order anything else to support his business and I said “well what if I can’t afford anything else” and he essentially said that it was not his problem, he’s losing money off of me. He also got angry when I referred to the BOGO as a coupon rather than a BOGO deal. They aren’t mutually exclusive so I don’t understand why he was so angry over that. I started to get worried about me being there because I was alone, it was at night, and I’m a woman, so I started to record the conversation. I have the last 5 minutes on recording and you can hear him yelling at me that I always get free sandwiches, he doesn’t make money off of me, it’s a BOGO deal not a coupon, and that I’m the reason he’s getting rid of BOGO. I told him that it’s good that he is getting rid of the BOGO if he is going to be this upset over people using it. After some more back and forth, he slid the sandwich to me and said “If I ever see your name again and you get the BOGO, you are getting one sandwich.” The recording did not get the worst of it, but you can hear him yelling at me and trying to argue with me. I can’t imagine being an owner of a business and yelling at a woman at least 30 years younger than you about using a coupon. I will never be back and I will make sure no one that I know will go back. I’ve never felt more embarrassed, scared, and upset at a local business in my life. Overall, DO NOT go to this subway, the owner is incredibly rude. Jacks next door is much nicer and has no problem fixing their (rare) mistakes.
The ingredients that I ordered very small amounts on sandwiche! Skimpy made! For $12 plus taxes, I should have got a lot on a foot long. That included bottled drink and chips. I should have just gotten a BLT instead of vegetarian with bacon.Vegetarian options: I ordered vegetarian with bacon. With bottle drink and chips, it was $12 with taxes
The food is fine, but they don’t accept any coupons, which is the main reason we went to Subway over another option. I don’t think that’s posted publicly, so hopefully this helps you if you’re passing through. The manager was a little rude to the worker when she asked him about it.
I ordered a Footlong club (with roast beef) with DOUBLE PROTEIN add bacon on a mobile order. What I received barely passes for a regular club. I get this sandwich regularly at 3 different Subways. This location owner in Locust Fork has done this to me twice. The other locations get it right. I went back to the store the next day with a picture and the worker agreed with me. The owner argued with me first that I didn 't order double protein, I showed him a picture of the order, then he said he did it right, contrary to the picture of the middle of the sandwich. He said that I 'm only showing the middle, I explained that the ends were worse. 2 inches on each eand had literally NOTHING on it. The he said I wasn 't telling the truth. That was the final straw. This was actually the FRANCHISE OWNER that made the sandwich and treated me this way. I was courteous by waiting until all of his customers were gone before talking to him, although witnessed him messing up 2 other orders while I waited. Pitiful excuse for customer service, much less an owner. He didn 't offer to make it right, nothing. He needs to lose the franchise. I told him so and he said I 've heard that before When you pay almost $18 for a sandwich, it should be at least what you ordered. There are several reviews of this same behavior with this guy. When I expressed my displeasure with his attitude, he said I 've heard that before . How disappointing that he knows there 's a problem yet doesn 't resolve it.
