Avaliação da contribuiçãoI was here a few weeks ago, was craving Omu-rice. (which is very hard to look for in Brisbane) I have been to the restaurant a while back when it first opened. I remembered it being really nice, good service and very nice decor. This time round, I was very disappointed with all three mentioned. Food; took a long time to come out, the quality of the Omu-rice was nothing like the last time we had it (maybe a different chef), there was A LOT of sauce that came with the dish, that in my opinion, over powered the whole dish.Service; poor, very poor. We ordered a side of chips first and that came out. But the time from the chips to the meal was at least 20mins. Our drinks never came even after receiving the meal itself. We asked the girl what happened and she accidentally gave it to another table (which we saw she approached and asked the couple to pay for those drinks as they didn't order it). I got my drink pretty much towards the end of the meal.Decor; still same, it was cute. BUT there was no air-con. It is summer at the moment and that particular day was SUPER hot. We sat inside but decided to move to the outside seating area (which had air-con from the shopping centre).I'm really sad because I remembered such good food and service to come back. If you are after Omu-rice I recommend Oishii - Sunnybank =)
Its not longer call Café Madelaine, its nice and clean, food its ok,good when you are in hurry, price wise, cheap, nice décor,it wont disappoint but I wouldn"t rave about it.
