Avaliação da contribuiçãoWent to Kinsei with my partner and together we shared the assorted hot finger food plate for entree and for mains I had the salmon sashimi and rice while my partner had the aburi wagyu steak. We enjoyed our entree despite the whole plate being fried food. Main 1: Salmon sashimi and rice was big. There was a lot of salmon sashimi and it tasted good however I felt bad not being able to finish my meal because it was so large. Main 2: Aburi wagyu was steak sliced into thick strips drizzled with the sauces and blow torched. This was served with rice and salad. My partner didn't mind the dish, it was edible but not one he would order again. Price and service: The pricing of this place is a little over priced but the service was very good and friendly.
I really really love this place and I come here all the time. The 3.5 all plates pricing is the best! My go-to's are salmon nigiri and aburi salmon/scallop. The aburi sushi's are also made to order so are always fresh and delicious. For the colder days I also love eating their hotpot set, I usually get the vego option as I can never finish the meat (too much meat!! but I guess I can't really complain about a surplus of food lol)
$3.50 all plates. Great selection and quality for the price. Rolls made to order look nice and very generous in size, will have to try it next time
Bought the Groupon deal for hotpot for 4 people(1 hotpot per 2 people) and it includes entree of edamame, hotpot and dessert of vanilla ice cream with hot tea and a bowl of rice each. We have decided to go with the seafood hotpot and beef and for our soup base we choose miso and sauce we choose sesame sauce. The hotpot overall was very flavourful and even though it doesn't look like much, it was fulfilling and was just right and not too full(and I've skipped both lunch and breakfast). Would definitely come back again
We ordered the hot food starters platter and various sushi rolls. The starters were quite delicious, particularly the gyozas and the karage chicken. The sushi off the trains weren't as fresh, however the ones we ordered separately were very flavoursome. In particular the soft shell crab nigiri and the crab claws were quite enjoyable. Every plate of sushi was $3.50 which was great value. We decided to try the mochi icecream as well, but found it to be nothing extraordinary. The place had a small section laid out as a restaurant and another laid out as a typical sushi bar where we chose to be seated (easy access to the train ???? ). The service was excellent, the staff were knowledgeable about the menu and promptly responded to our requests. The food was served timely and overall a pretty good value for the amount of food we had.
