Bengal Berties - North Finchley

The restaurant was quiet, but it was likely to be expected for a week night. Nevertheless, customer service was in order and food served in a reasonable time. We especially enjoyed the disc ktikka, the other vegetarian dishes were a bit hit and miss. However, the overall price was appropriate.

The food was good at Bengal Bertie's in North Finchley, but the restaurant urgently needs more staff, it was half an hour between our poppadoms and able to order the rest of the food. They were not busy in the restaurant itself there were only 2 other tables, but the constant stream of takeaway calls meant that the waiter was constantly on the pone. Too bad.

Bengal Bertie was a nice surprise, because although it wasn't busy, even though it was a Saturday night, the food was great. The Onion Bhajees were the best we had tasted for a long time and the menu had some different things that were unusual. The service was attentive, but not pushy. Everything in a great evening and we will return.

Good food and good service in this Indian restaurant in northern Finchley. Very cheap and welcoming and warm atmosphere. Good place for a late night curry.

Bengal Bertie's, London a nice local curry house with very good food and highly attentive, friendly staff. Good value for money! Would recommend.
